ADP Project - Accelerated Desktop Pages
ADP Project - Accelerated Desktop Pages is a Chrome extension that allows users to view the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) version of webpages. This extension works by speeding up web pages on popular sites such as BBC News, The Guardian, Buzzfeed, and The Verge.
By utilizing the available Accelerated Mobile Pages, ADP Project significantly reduces the loading times of web pages. These Accelerated Mobile Pages are optimized versions of the desktop pages and are cached by Google worldwide, ensuring even faster loading speeds.
The extension features a toolbar icon that turns blue when an accelerated version of the current page is available. Users can simply click on the toolbar icon to be redirected to the accelerated page. Additionally, the extension automatically redirects users to the accelerated version of a webpage if it is detected.
ADP Project also modifies all links on a website to point to their corresponding accelerated versions. This feature enhances the overall browsing experience by seamlessly directing users to the optimized pages.
Users have the flexibility to enable or disable specific features through the extension settings.
Currently, ADP Project supports popular websites like BBC News, The Verge, The Guardian, and Buzzfeed.
